I am looking for weeks for a suitable solution, but I simply did not climb to 100% by: /
Following problem:
I will begin my studies in early October and because I Money / space for a television would like to save, I'm looking for a way "s.PC away to see."
In my room in Darmstadt, I have a cable connection, the Office of iesy is operated, as far as I understand it, belongs to Unity Media.
My Barebone PC has no free PCI slot more, so I resolve to an external USB / Firwire am instructed.
Do not know whether the following details of benefits are:
graphics card: MSI 6600 GT
Monitor: Samsung 226BW
Satellite receiver, I have not, but could be a friend of a D-Box 1er get.
Is there a solution to the above problem?
And probably a amateur wonder: Do I need analog or digital TV when I just eh Programs such as ARD, ZDF, RTL, Sat.1, Pro7, DSF, VOX, Kabel1 and Eurosport would like to look?

... Then you need no DVB-C, but a USB cable analog tuner.
About DVB-C, you get only the public broadcaster, for which you have a private need further costs associated with digital cable.

@ Mash: In my home area, according to map an external antenna is required. I live in the basement, but a small terrace to install an outdoor antenna.
