Hi!
I'm currently 2 internal disks, which are by other interests (music, graphics) already jam-packed. Now that my camera is functional again I will once again take to the cut.
Hence the question: I'd like to me ne HOLN external disk, set up with 200-300gb and da nen standalone system on it, to cut, etc. ..
Is that good with the plate? or what would ne more sensible alternative?

Hello Marco.
The most sensible alternative would be to outsource the graphics to external and internal to the cutting plate. However, there is no reason not to spill render files with the external to the capturing only it can - in theory at least, come - via Firewire IN> OUT Firewire to dropped frames. At least it is not recommended in books.

Should work with any commercially available USB2 or Firewire disk.
