I have a problem with FCE 4 and although I want the data I with a Panasonic HDC-DX1 (8cm DVD) was recorded in FCE 4 capture. It is unfortunately not just the error message it is an unknown format.

Sure? As far as I remember, can FCE 4 Although generally AVCHD log, but DVD-based AVCHD cameras are the exception and there are not usable with FCE. I think this is so even in the FCE manual.

Sorry, my mistake. The lack of DVD support AVCHD cameras FCE does not, but OSX 10.4. With Leopard, it should indeed work (with the tool "Log and transfer").
