Infoseite // FCE and Panasonic HDC-SD 707

Frage von Sevog:

Hi everyone,

I through forests now for a week, the internet and various forums and will not be able next.

I own the HDC-SD 707, FCE and Clipwrap. Unfortunately, I can'm completely in the dark as I record my clips and best editing.

For me, the situation is currently like this:

Recording: Available in 1080i/50 or 1080p/50

The 1080p images I convert with Clipwrap in the AIC format. It gives me the clips in 1080p/50 with 6 tracks (recorded the clips were in 5.1). I can easily import these clips in full Resolutionin FCE. In the timeline I can only work with 1080p/25. Of the 6 tracks are filled with only 2 audio, 4 are empty.

The 1080i recordings, I can log in directly with import into FCE. Here are the clips converted to 1080p/25 and are in stereo.

Easy to cut and edit the clips I can in two variants. The 4 blank audio tracks after the conversion Clipwrap I simply deleted and good. However, I do not understand why I get this at all 4 empty audio tracks?

The big question is now: Which one should I take now. Obviously, there is always s.Ende 1080p/25 out.

I hope you can help me:)

Yours sincerely,
Frank

Hi Frank,

If I understand correctly, you have already implemented projects in both formats. For this reason, I would suggest in principle that you continue to work in the format that provides you think the better results and / or in which the workflow simpler.

Personally, I would use 1080i50, because the format of FCE is 100% supported. If you want to create crisp slow motion, you could rotate the target in 1080p50, pack the MTS files with new ClipWrap and then create the JES deinterlacer with a nice slow motion.

Probably not exactly the answer to which you have hoped, but I hope I could still help you a bit. :-)

Regards
Sebastian
