Frage von WWJD:

Hi folks

Does anyone know the same problem:
The HDV import to FCS 6.0.5 on my MacPro 8CORE the Progi keeps crashing at about 22min. off.
I'm sure glad to any feedback.

Best regards
Jack

Guess that's unknown. Irritates me your word choice "HDV import". Log and capture via firewire with sufficiently large Scratchdisk?

@ Axel:
What do you mean confused with ""?
Yes clear apple +8, but after 22min. crashes Progi, again and again and again and again in 22min. And plenty of space.

We did indeed get at your schonmal asynchronous Multiclips tried. I can not tell you really what you're doing wrong, but as you see, it's probably not a bug in the program. And certainly not synonymous with Calculator. Around me there are four Macs, which is of the "strongest" a 2.4 C2D iMac, so I would be ashamed to compare it with one MP 8C, but the problems that you call, which are still exotic.

When people start their own Calculator zusammenzubasteln, are all possible sources of error evident. FCS on the other hand, an MP should be about as error-prone as a bread knife to be ....

Dannacher it was a timecode errors of the same places repeatedly s.der occurred. I then problem solved: imported into iMovie '09 (; is against any timecode errors resitenter) and later the imported clip to Final Cut Pro-xml exported.

That surprised me, as a timecode error should lead to the shutdown of the current clip, and to start a new but not to crash. Nothing should lead to a crash.

I have not iMovie 09. Which codec is gecapturet? But please look it over, what does the film information on the size of the clips.

Antwort von Webbsta:

synonymous imovie 08 has this function. the codec is always dependent on the input material of the cam.

Funzt now fine, except that I had to complain 4 dropouts, as synonymous before. Well, if it's just not worse to come ......
Nevertheless, thank you Axel and Webbsta
