After repairing my Canon XM1 in Fa Rüdiger Maerz GmbH Berlin
are still major malfunction of the camcorder on.
Errors before the repair:
- Vertical rolling Picture (Picture Hiking)
- Kästchenförmige digital artifacts in the Picture
Repair bill, according to the Camera:
- Fixed Drive
- Ladeschlitten renewed
- Head drum renewed and adjusted
Error after repair:
- Playback of recordings in separate strips (different images woven or gray stripes)
or
- Time code without Picture
or synonymous
- Non-recognition of recorded video footage, the tape appears to be empty (current concerns as well as older recordings)
- Will most likely be video recordings in the camera mode is not fully recorded.
- If the tape can be read occur in faulty image synonymous to digital sound.
After my complaint, a further review of the Camera
by Rüdiger Maerz GmbH Berlin.
The camera I was about three weeks after the review without repair as error-free pass. The repair after the first error, are still in an unchanged form.
Question:
Why?
Is it in Berlin and surrounding a company that inexpensive and high quality repairs s.der Canon XM1 carries.

Can you repair after new videotape with a video camera to record? How are these fresh recordings played?
If the reported error is only old recordings from the period before the repair was either not adjusted properly or it has been properly adjusted and your old recordings were made with incorrect adjustment recorded. In the first case you can complain, in the second case you have a problem!
How is the camera tapes again, NOT with THIS camera recorded?

Yes I can.
to brand new bands, this is not happening, we have tested synonymous in the store. In a later recording, we have s.Ende a recorded tape on the blank part of the band, because then the error occurred. However, the tape was recorded only once insgsamt.

Have just two getesten the tapes with another of Canon camcorder and a JVC recorder, were held on the work of the XM1. Old tapes also ran. This happened at a tape and the same but very different. I suppose that when loading the tape cartridge may not be correctly threaded.

Unfortunately, my experience with repairs of authorized repairers synonymous not particularly good. Either you will find nothing, then joins the Fehelr home but immediately reinstated. Or they repair it, then the error occurs at home yet again. Or they create a leaflet purely on the stands: We have found no errors. Reclamation is already done. I have discussed with the technician he said the tape would be dirty. I had the camera for three weeks they are still there at times to be reviewed. He found no such error. Is there a company in relation XM1 repair has a good reputation.

Hi. My advice, send the camcorder, with the bad tape, right after Canon in Willich. Usually takes only 4-5 days. Taste something synonymous but the camera is OK again. (If your car is broken, you bring is not synonymous in any locksmith).

I have an experience with the company Greb in Dreieich. I'm about 4 years prior to the pushed. At that time they were on the Canon website as an authorized repairer listed.
