Hi,
would like to hear what audio recorder do you use for your recordings, or can recommend.
I have the time nor the Tascam 100, which is very good to me but just in interviews as not many manual modulations allowed. I'm therefore rather s.einen SQN or Edirol R 4, Tascam HD P2 or similar devices. Should in any case, manual adjustable channels and have to be suitable for outdoor use - at least mobile.
Which have you had good experiences or what you can empfehelen?

Possession of the zoom H4n and am very satisfied with the device. Eats a little too much power, but with good battery (Eneloops) no problem.
p48, 2x XLR / TRS combo inputs etc pp .... very handy, many size, price value. I can recommend it.

My favorite of the Edirol R would be-44. Even I am familiar with such recorders may not sound great, but the sound man, I had three times for a while, had recently sold his R-4, was switched to the R-44 and of the already elated contagious. I found his praises convincing, especially since the recorder has not only delivered a flawless recording (that's the least), but the handling and processing of synonymous ago left a good impression. Its disadvantage: He now has regained considerable price.
