Yes most professionals use DAT recorder, the Marantz is working with a Compact Flash card, I feel the technique eigentlcih no preference, the main thing I get a good sound for the price of the device of a maximum of about ¬ 800 which included the Marantz namely pocket and 2 GB card brings the balance .....
