Hello, I have a question about FireWire cards. Have a FireWire card (; Delock with NEC chipset) in the PC running Windows XP 32bit on transfer of MiniDV functioning perfectly. Now I have installed Windows 7 64bit and have the following problem. Firewire card is recognized and in Device Manager shows no errors. If (I mean Cam, Panasonic NV-GS400) subscribe, it is recognized automatically by the system and all drivers are installed and will appear under devices and printers for devices. Now I start (my video editing software), Adobe Premiere Pro Movie Maker CS4/Windows live and they do not recognize the camera. And I can not download the footage of the action. With the same hardware under XP no problems. Now my real question: Can I fix this problem with the change of the FireWire card. I read somewhere on the net, ensuring that what with a "Texas Instruments chipset" the best compatibility. What would be recommended.
Thanks for any tip. PS.: Please, no hints to install XP again.

A few other FW-order tickets to try and. Costs indeed nothing more. And if that fails, re-install XP ;-)
Keywords OHCI. But it may be synonymous in your case is an incompatibility between the application software, operating system and / or Drivers / card. EarlyAdopter must stop paying dues, as befits a ;-)

Thank you, I had expected. Will go and order one and see if it would bring what. Admittedly, my old card is already about 5 years old.
