I became aware through Google.de this Page and hope that someone can help me with my problem.
I've been about 2 years, a Panasonic NV-GS3, I'm so super happy, and only recently come up with the idea to work on my PC the videos. Synonymous initially worked very well, I have Pinnacle Studio (V9.3.4) gekauf of the camera and played the video with an adapter with SVHS input on my PC.
Since I really very rarely use the camera, Once again I have read through the instructions. Here I noticed that everything I can even digital dubbing from the DV input. So I exchanged them and I gained a FireWire adapter card.
But at the present time problem:
- Firewire card is recognized under WindowsXP (VIA OHCI compliant IEEE 1394 host controller)
- When I plug in the camera, it appears to me synonymous and Pinnacle Studio opens automatically.
I can fast forward through the software synonymous start the camera / rewind and synonymous. But after some time moves Pinnacle Studio any more, ie. Stillimage in the preview show and the band is suddenly synonymous to 00:00. Somehow, nothing stops responding, only when I drag the time of the Firewire card from the camera, I can pause the recording and it is recognized that the camera is not plugged.
The software is synonymous not respond at different times, once he takes easily 15 minutes to repeat again and in just 2 minutes.
I then used synonymous to another software that came with the firewire card (MAGIX). Same problem after a time as the software stops responding and freeze until I remove the times from the Camera. Again, the recording works fine, however, synonymous only for a few minutes ...

I installed DirectX 9c and synonymous ServicePack2!
