My DVDR 75, it may on DVD + RW with no problem what dfrauf write.
Now if I was purely DVD + R only.
Recorder recognizes DVD + R disc, only when I start recording it, the message - "Disk Error".
Why is that?

Such a device should s.Werk function. Especially with the update usually synonymous will void your warranty.

After new Firmupdaten I think so, the TV broadcast is much better.
Just before I upgrade DVD + R Rolling untested, and therefore I know no more now.
I have problems with DVD + R Rolling Upgrade or because these errors had already been.
So I would try and update old firmware to see if my recorder is recording on DVD + R make rolling.
With DVD + RW, I have no Problemme.
And I am interested, where is this error.
Otherwise quality recording (for DVD + RW) at Philips 75/021 is very good.

HP DVD + R, I have rolling of Platinium and even of some other manufacturers tried.

If the DVD + R does not work, try with blanks of the type DVD-R. You may run but not at all, because only the former Philips Pros format support. I do not synonymous, whether the DVDR 75 when it was still synonymous. Perhaps this is something in the manual?
Did you synonymous times cleaned the drive? If because of the time with dirt deposited, is no longer synonymous each blank.
