Hello,
I've made weight reasons "small" Velbon Sherpa CF 435 with a Manfrotto 700 RC2 - Video Eiger purchased. The Velbon has to fix des Neiges only a threaded screw. So if it pans counterclockwise will probably not be avoided, that time solves the screw so that the fluid effect is not effective.
I thought s.ein chemical means such as "Schraubenfix" so that the bolt is not as easy to solve, or perhaps the same stick, but for the transport of air travel is less favorable. Has anyone a practical tip? Greeting Colo.

The possibility of contraband through the tripod base plate, however, have not all tripod manufacturers. So therefore I have in my Feisol CT-3442 extra 3 threads for Imbusschrauben the leveling base and counter-cut now that the video on the Eiger.

Thanks for the reply. Feisol When this solution is due to the leveling base, the relatively wide, quite possible. Unfortunately, however, not with my Velbon tripod. I will surf again, but do not believe that there is something similar for Velbon-Tripods there. Originally wanted a suitable Manfrotto Tripods, also with a round head plate, which were to me, however, all too hard. And the Fixierproblematik I was dooferweise until after the Purchase aware. Ev. I make my thrifty just primarily pans clockwise.

Why do not you just take more and 4mm heavy base plate with the three fixing screws, which in the middle of a 1 / 4 "thread has made of aluminum and screw them with a little Loctite on the original small plates.
