You've probably "some" film version in NTSC with a non-standard resolution. TMPEG this may not as a DVD format.
Attempts to convert the Resolutionmit DVD Patcher to change and then with TMPEG. You can find instructions on the web.

I have edited the videos before with any program or Do this once then. You can take the TMPGEnc MPEG2 encoder for it. It is important that you come up with the correct DVD image size and frame rate.
These need to first find out what species you have video - PAL (DVD objective: 720x576 and 25 fps), or - probably - NTSC (720x480 and 29.97 fps DVD target).
The enlarge the current image size on the DVD target size do you do for example in TMPEGEnc by Neuenodieren to MPEG2.
Careful with Quellenmix: If you have several clips that have to be present on the DVD all in the same target format.
