Frage von actaion:

Hi,
have recently a CX505.
I'm come across the following problem:

Yesterday was at a party and had filmed. In between (; Filmpuase) I can then hang the Cam s.arm down. When I again hochnahm first time everything was blurred (; focus well on close).
The cam then the law needs laneg / ca 3-4 sec) to return to provide sharp wide open, ok.

But twice I had yesterday the problem that the cam has rausbewegt no more from the close focus setting. Was glued to.
Good, it was rather dark in the room, but there have been over a few light s.der wall. Also out and her pan and zoom, (; brought nothing to the lamps, the focus was moving nowhere.
Also turning point of focus and "Touch" on the light areas resulted in the Picture no.
Certain one minute long, the focus remained on extremely close and everything was extremely blurred.

Only when I focus to manual switches, and turned to a higher distance, the focus changed again. If you then again from close range was out, you could synonymous umscahlten back to auto, UDN, the focus has s.da again found its target. Even if the focus is sometimes lost in the meantime, because you put a dark target, he was then always be the destination.
But first, in the extreme close range as he was stuck and stirred no piece, no preference was made man.

Have you been watching this problem synonymous with this or similar model?

Is now only ne wild speculation, however, the NEN Camera Macro Mode, which was not as reingetrieben on automatic and not again for NEM errors came out? So for me it sounds strange that you s.kannst reproduce?

After no one at the party this was synonymous nobody knows who were the conditions for the Camera. An example video would not be bad.

What you describe, I really know so of JVC. Their AF is indeed rather fidgety.

If the Sonyansonsten behaves normally, with their AF is a party situation as it prevailed, overtaxed.

Fidgety he's just not, quite the contrary ...

Certainly the lighting conditions were difficult. But when the AF once had rausbekommen from the macro setting, it worked really quite well ... Has lost just once vielleichtr the orientation, but then found again and again. Just wait, if he had slipped to close, he wanted to move then no piece more ...

The question remains why the AF was on macro. You wrote that you can have the camera hanging down. Was the camera turned on and this has seen the bottom? In normal driving the AF point and her (the AF pumps) until it has recaptured something.

I know the effect of you just described of JVC. Their AF is not just fidgety, but rarely synonymous times stubborn. Even my JVC MG 47 (I have the SW21 next) is sometimes difficult to convince them that the AF most out of a particular setting again. For this I must keep the camera at a very high contrast image, then it has found after a few seconds the text (and the AF). If not, I must get out of the manual AF rigidity.

If the AF works otherwise normally, I would not give the (unique) "AF-terminal" so much attention. Something has thrown the camera out of the path, just possibly, the action of a mobile phone.
