Through the movement in the picture 25 frames ranging from not producing at flowing films. So we have to increase the playback frequency to at least 50 fps. So must be expected intermediate (one copy each of the second image is not enough).

Tell the idiots, they should get some decent camera, receives the same in 720p50. Or better yet, tell them that everyone (including television, OB truck ...) so what 1080i50 with doing what is practically synonymous every Billigcamcorder. 1080i50 can be easily converted to 720p50, where it then must be real.

... but unfortunately with loss of quality ... So better yet 720p50 then you have at least 'ne decent quality, if it can it be a good quality.
Synonymous, and the fairy tale that 1080i25 is to be more advantageous for fast (sports) movements adheres completely wrong. For it is not true.

The general standard HD 1080i50 tilts in Europe, the 720p50 number is almost always through. Conclusion, end. 720p50 an OB truck built None yet, so what's not easy. Not even for sport. So you can bet with confidence to your equally detested 1080i50 ... Cross conversion between the two flavors is life anyway. But this discussion is moving in spheres with a dash of religious war, which is not interested anyway.

Regardless, the "50" is the trick for fluid motion. Of course, you can try with Motion Flow technology (compressor would be the only tool in the studio suite, which you could try it), conjure up from 25p to 50p, but this effort is disproportionate to simply purchase a usable camera for sports, and to today has not even 1,000 EUR in your hand. For 720p50 it gets more expensive, and our disgruntled sports filmmakers have their equipment more likely bought at Aldi.

The OB vans are all capable 720p50 and 1080i25 by no means exclusively-capable.
It depends more on what the customer wants to control. Understandable in view of the underground car owner.
But you should time yourself with the previous extensive studies on this subject and not only believe what you rehearse marketing Fritzen a particular manufacturer.
Facts can not succeed because the world that closes in front of the eyes.

Then close your eyes once synonymous not before the announcement by the BBC to accept in the near future, no 720s format anymore. With brands that has nothing to do, the current broadcast cameras all Manufacturers can do both, your beloved synonymous Panny 300th Manufacturers no longer risk the unsaleability its products, in which he insists on one of the two options. Just as the OB truck farmer, of course, carrying a cross converter in case one wants to 720p50. If in fact only in Germany and Switzerland before - the other countries have suddenly realized that buying the Consumer Panel Television with 1080s and are surprised when only shrink-HD will be offered.

Well, you see ... But it is.
And what the BBC is concerned, which belongs to our customer base and so far there is no change in the technical specification.
The current change (Oct09) refers solely to the fact that the BBC takes no more material, whose source material 16 mm film.
And usually such specifications for at least 1 years come out before the entry for the BBC.
Maybe there's some wishful thinking here ... or only the imagination of a marketing Fritzen?
How's it wä times with 'ner source of this message?

The thread starter should only carry the can, what someone else screwed up. In this respect about missed - but your recommendation in terms 720p50-camera for beginners, instead of a Aldicam would be interesting!
