Infoseite // From Day Night machen! By superposition effects?

Frage von Der-Nick:

Hi folks!
Have already searched the forum, but unfortunately found nothing.
I have the following question: How do I get it out that I have a shot a scene with Tagszene night mood get?
The scene plays out. It is important to me that there is a bluish night.

I have now the whole day out rumprobiert, and have already rausgefunden that it is s.besten, I leave all happen at full moon. This justifies some highlights and gives me the opportunity still synonymous to create strong contrasts. The following I have already made:

- I have the Picture bluish dye (3-way color correction)
- I have the gamma value increases
- I aabe with an 8-point mask a black soft abdunklungsrand generated

The whole looks quite good. Only one problem, there are some settings: The sky is still brighter than the rest
My thought: Can this problem, perhaps with overlapping effects (such as "multiply" or "Overlay") resolved?

Now there are a thousand possibilities, the overlapping effects with all possible colors and other effects combine, and I thought maybe someone already knows a solution. Oh, and I work with Final Cut Pro, but it should indeed be quite irrelevant.

Has one of you an idea how the sky gets dark now?

Thank you very much!
Nick

Thanks PowerMac,
but this helps little, because the scene is rotated, and I hope now they have subsequently modify them.
What do you think of the idea with the superposition effects? There must be something to be.

Did I read something about, or did you not specify with which program you work?

Such stories usually several paths lead to Rome. Come to the starting material. Good if you have a typical time frame could upload ...

Otherwise, as a lump sum => Clip duplicate auskeyen sky on top, on bottom of the clip with Curves ... sky darken force etc ...
or with a => luma mat work .....

Thanks for the replies.
I work with Final Cut Pro.
Unfortunately I have no sensible warrior choice, without the bright edges of "semitone" pixels arise. I Ahbe with the much-luma mask rumprobiert punching, but there are always the annoying white edges. And some images do not give the desired contrast to the punch.
That is why I hope with the superposition effects.
Here are some pictures

Hier seht ihr die vorgehende Szene, zu der es passen sollte.

Und hier weitere Bilder zu der betreffenden Szene:

Unfortunately, I knew when filming does not mean that it must be night, and now I am faced with the problem. Had cool if someone could help.

That will be difficult. Fairly overexposed everything, actually ausgefressen far too much and too much sky. I hope you have static (!) Scenes. You've got to Motion. The keyer in Motion is better than in Final Cut Pro. In Motion you can with nem luma or chroma-key work well. First, the static settings painstakingly handcrafted by mask and then a luma or chroma drauf apply. Then NEN drüber set the course and those with a blue sky color. Synonymous possible from a real recording the night sky and to extract anything (as a track) or on the freimaskierten and to lay gekeyten sky. Always nice to work with gradients. Then you look a few stills of real night shots of major films. With this pattern you can make s.die Color correction. Überleg always, why does this naturally and artificially in that somehow? Step by step you get the look already. You could synonymous subsequently selectively color or obvious. There are a few Final Cut Pro plug-ins that may in retrospect images illuminate, ie edges and highlights set. Is I think Natress or so. Can I came to see tomorrow.

And always make screenshots inside! Say what you what steps you tried and how it looks. Then benefit from other people of your problem.

This is a hard piece of ... I look showed klappt. Thanks in any case PowerMac ... Unfortunately, I never rausgefunden how the white edge in Motion rausbekommt. How to sort the "Choice shrinks" ...
Can you give me a hint as yet give?

Actually, I come from the photo corner, and talking about it with Photoshop vocabulary.
I believe the following: When you cut (both luma than synonymous Chromakeying) are ugly edges, where the keyer can not draw. Sowas can be countered by say, the signal will be stamped by 1-3 pixels enlarged. Then, while some of the minimal motif is truncated but the mask looks better ...

you had in a previous post of me, just something that you can do with Motion, but I have not managed to ahbs!

So, I try now to continue!

Just wanted to briefly close the thread: For the Camera and moving to the bright sky, the whole has not worked unfortunately.

Ahbe I now simply a narrative voice added to the film Gradebiegt error.
I know that is Fusch, but was unfortunately no different ...

Thanks for your help !!!!!!!!!

Liebe Grüße
Nick
