Hi,
no idea whether it is linked to the times but I had a similar problem. Since then ran Premiere synonymous but generally very slow.
For me it was because the camera was plugged in (via firewire). When I had removed it, everything ran beautifully.
That would at least match the extent that it now goes again ... :)
If indeed the problem was, however, would be interesting to compare times components. Maybe you could be to blame and find the problem.
