Frage von erniep:

I film in years with a camcorder SonyHC92 and also I use this camcorder as a recorder for recording a helmet camera during my bike tours. Previously s.end the holiday of remembrance have been dubbed film cut to the PC, overdubbed and a DVD created. The view on an old 81cm TV has been without problems.
Now I stand before the purchase a flat-screen TVs with full HD resolution.
Are there any restrictions on quality from the LCD-TV-purchase terms of resolution? Or I'll have to stay with my old TV.Gerät to have a decent picture?
Or do I have to upgrade your camcorder? (Helmet camera does not go up) 588Zeilen

A high-resolution television, whose picture you look up close, showing traditionally aufgelöstet material is not particularly sharp. But that does not is because of poorly scaled Television (which most do quite cheap), but simply results from the Comparison.

So stay in the CRT TVs to solve your problem only insofar as you will not have the direct comparison between the new HD footage and see your old SD material. Better is the enemy of good ...

On the bad SD picture on flat screens you have to get used anyway, because HD is on television far from being a standard. Or do not you buy the television only to consider your own videos?

If there is an indication of what use, here are my observations:

I have a cheap 32 "LCD TV of Medion and sit relatively close in front (ie close enough to appreciate the difference between SD and HD access).

DV video in 4:3-format, which I have made s.dem in 2000 with a Canon MV200 see it pretty good (certainly not for HD, but) very useful. Something better the 4:3-videos I've done up to two years ago with a MVX3i Canon (provided the somewhat sharper pictures than the old MV200).
Videos in 16:9 format, which were also made with the MVX3i, however, are somewhat less sharp. The same goes for DVDs were runtergerechnet the material from my new HD camcorder.

From this I: In DV 4:3-videos twisted benefit of the higher profile of horizontal resolution, to infer the Pillar format creates (because the left and right stripes) remain black. At the 16:9 format, however it has the disadvantage that the same PAL Resolutionfür screen wide ranging needs, and thus, the apparent distance to HD resolution is evident.
