Infoseite // FullHD material into the correct pixel ratio

Frage von tomster5:

Moin,

quick question: I have rotated in FullHD format - 1920x1080.
If I but now the video in Premiere import, but I will
a size of 1440x1080 (Aspect ratio: 1.333) is displayed.

The whole PC is running. I have now tested as a first project
anglegt (1920x1080, Aspect ratio: 1.0). Here we me synonymous but the video is displayed correctly - that is not squashed or otherwise.

Was the workflow right now?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hello,

Your camcorder has truly recorded in full HD, so an image size of 1920 × 1080 stored? Were the recordings remains transferred to the calculator? And you have the appropriate formats for project settings in Premiere elected?

Antwort von tomster5:

Yes, it was a Panasonic.

The whole was on a P2 card. and on a hard drive pulled.

Yes it really was rotated in FullHD (1920x1080).

Ok, then I now believe that it all so it should be ...

Antwort von Markus:

P2 is in HD but for DVCProHD, or not? Then 1440 × 1080 pixels correctly, because this video format is defined.
