Infoseite // Grass Valley Mixer picture Tally Connector

Frage von Christian3:

Hello,

would have a brief question about a GVG100CV;

knows someone with the Tally-port?

Since I foolishly "nor" no manual for the image mixer did, it would be cool if someone would know.
On screen mixer has 8 terminals GND.Ist plus one channel selected, since each is about 2 volts an.More I can not find out.

Had great if someone had a tip!
Thank you, Regards, Christian

Do you know what Tally is or what is the question?

Antwort von Christian3:

Hi,

well yes, it s little bit stupid manner!

The function of the Tallylampen is clear, (laugh) it's about how to properly jack anschließt.An the contacts are 2Volt to my camera CCUs but need either 24 volts AC, DC or 5Volt have just "bridged" are. Depending on the setting.
Normally I would say to me I could build a circuit which converts 2Volt (transistor / relay) and then weitergibt.Ich not believe the manufacturer as an expense so vorsieht.Ich thinking rather s.eine jumper setting in the image mixer I must first find.
Before I now a "tinkering" start, stop looking, I prefer to first look for a wiring diagram or looking for someone of this mixer kennt.Thomson / Grass Valley has in any case no tip / plan available, that was my first attempt.

Many greetings, Christian

Now you need to tell us what thou hast CCU. perhaps it is so direct.

and otherwise, of +2 V with a relay from all over the circuit "bridged" make is not that the effort.

Hello,
thank you for the answers.
Have not yet weiterexperimentiert,
was first to find a manual.

Oh yes, there are BTS LDK CCUs (bzw.die call them RCUs). The can with jumpers set to different signals.

But I think I'm doing it with the relay is not the fastest, because once again something new in addition to solder, but surely the most effective way!
Should I still not find a better solution I will post here, then synonymous times what another of them (provided they are on these old machines, like me).
Thanks you, Regards, Christian

PS: useful tips are still welcome!

Hi folks,

Puzzle is solved!

Had enough pleasure last night and still have time "correctly" measured.
The 2Volt which I had previously measured were in fact 0.2 volts (shame), no idea what I was für'n Mist measured hab. Also no real switching voltage.

In any case, the mixer switches between the respective downstream channel ZB.1 and the "Com" terminal through, not as accepted between 1 and "Gnd". (Only for those who are really interested)

Now I think it works like I actually synonymous presented habe.Die cameras play synonymous with, as it should be!

Thank you for your interest, I'm delighted that it now works without any further "tinkering"! freu
