Hi,
I'm trying to get my HDV material of the HC1 on the calculator too. The device can be controlled via FC but there is no preview image. Sound is synonymous not only because Bld. I chose the default HDV 1080i50. The camera is connected via Firewire with a PowerPC G5 2 x 2Ghz with 4Gb of RAM. When running the camera so he should at least show something.
Has anyone of you in this record, or something similar configuration, or has a tip?
I'm grateful for any advice!

Well not explain the gibts too - beyond the simple HDV 1080 50i configuration I get no picture. I now use in the audio / video presets, the Apple Intermediate Codec 1080 50i. Now everything works so far. Whether this is best I do not know - look for me but for quality.
