Hi,
I would like to set a HD camcorder. Can one look for the AVCHD format? Currently I have a SonyVX2100 synonymous again and would like something in this area.

It depends on what you prefer: you can either stay with the tape recording (ie, HDV format, which is extinct in the lower consumer segment almost, but in prosumer and lives per area) or you can set to record to memory cards, which in this Price range almost inevitably means the AVCHD format.
The first information you so you can even cameras like the SonyFX1000/Z5, look at the Canon XH-A1 (all HDV) or SonyAX2000/NX5 and the Panasonic HMC151 (AVCHD all). If it's a step may be under it, would the Panasonic HMC41 synonymous and the JVC HM100 in question. The latter is formatwise the exception, as it records XDCAM EX, which is usually found only on more expensive camcorders.
