my output is 1080x1920 with 25fps material
I would like to convert with the divx converter. I had the opportunity because with either plus hd convert to mkv or avi in HD1080P.
I would like to gewust as which of the two options is the better option?

Nothing.
I am assuming that you have AVCHD files with ~ 21-24MBit / s.
Why convert ('back to') is nonsense:
* Time required to convert
* Loss of quality in which no preference Bitrate
* Videos may not be directly re-machined with a NLE (-> back again transform = loss of quality and cost)
Therefore let it remain.
