Hello,
have before me in next time a camera to purchase and now I just can not decide between these two. Price would be the XL2 is certainly interesting, because recently a bid on eBay for about 2200 ¬ expired. The FX7E on eBay, I could still not find it. Would like to shoot short films and would now like to know of you what you could recommend me. I would be happy about answers. Thanks in advance!

Was here in the forum a video of a Rittertunier seen that with a FX7E was. Did the picture really been awesome. So now I tend more to FX7E. Also because they Neupreis from her is much cheaper and can be synonymous HDV.
When I look so photos of the XL2, it somehow look like as if the camera at first glance more options than the FX7E. Can you as what to say?

Hi,
I had "had" the choice between the FX1 and the FX7, but I landed on the FX1 because:
- The wide-angle lens a better area (32.7 mm to 37.4 mm),
- The display is not so far back and the camera sits a lot better then s.der shoulder can be supported,
- The sensors are larger (1 / 3 to 1 / 4 inches),
- It has an audio input (for Sony Returns FX7 to: nö)
- The display resolution is much higher.
So if Sony, then the FX1.

I had the opportunity s.Wochenende, a play (in the evening, stage lighting) with the XL2 incorporated. I'm honestly thrilled. The best camcorder I've ever had in their hands. The Picture is synonymous under difficult lighting conditions are excellent in the colors and razor sharp. The XL2 has a lot of control, almost all the major means of intuitive switches outside of reach.
Multilevel ND filter as ring s.Lens, a large-AE Shift Wheel, either with or without lock. 3 different manual white balance settings, selectable via a rotary switch, directly to the Zoomwippe a cog, to set the zoom, a rotary switch for gain control, and ......
I find the controls very thought out and practical, it's incredibly fun, with the partial filming.
The issue XL2 or FX7E I find strange. The fundamental question is surely more or HDV Pal. The FX7E is a good HDV camcorder, the XL2 a Highend Pal camcorder. The XL2 is the FX7 course systembeding s.Resolutionunterlegen in all other disciplines, but far superior.
Who in Lichverhältnissen unproblematic entirely for their own films, and the necessary equipment has HDV output for the mag FX7 attractive. Who professional videos synonymous under difficult lighting conditions and clientele makes, what the final product as a PAL video need to be clear for the XL2 decide.

Hello synonymous here, we had compared the two models:
FX1-the-successor-sony-hdr-FX7 Sony HDR-FX1, FX7-or-canon-xh-a1 One can speak for both, though probably the overwhelming advantages
the FX 1 speak. The picture is similar but in some, FX 1 at Lowlight a bit better, CMOS FX 7 rushing but only later.
