It is supposed to give your camcorder, the tape of synonymous transfer via USB. Have not seen yet, but search is not really synonymous for more info.
Has established itself Firewire/iLink/IEEE1394. And there are several names that are still there and not everyone has such a connection, the camcorder manufacturers advertise with data transfer via USB and does not even lie. Only thus is the most out of data from the memory card meant.

na if this is so then it is no preference whether usb2.2 or usb 1.1 ... as a camera, I will not use it anyway.

USB = scheiss scheiss image + software + + incompatibilities stupid beginner question
Firewire + = good image quality every software + no problems

anyway if you have USB probiers easy .. but usually only have trouble with the scheiß.

If you always have to buy a ticket then please Firewire, kost ja nix synonymous longer & works perfectly.
