HDR AX 2000 vs. AG-HMC 151

HDR vs AX 2000. AG-HMC 151

Frage von Frank B.:
Mai 2010

Hey Guys,
I would like to purchase a new camcorder in the medium term I am now back again and comparisons. Sun synonymous grad level, as I had open views both of the above cameras in slashCAM-Head-to-side by side. What I was very surprised it was that the (recent) Sonyeffektiv brings even less pixels than the Panasonic. I always thought the latter would have no real HD camera more as they effectively less than half the required pixels for FullHD and brings her Picture from pixel shift is calculated. And now this: Sony1037000 effective pixels - Panasonic 1.1 million effective pixels. Since I could still synonymous get the Panasonic. Mir reveals itself not synonymous, whether it is the slashCAM figures to act for one or for all three image converters together. Has anyone ever seen comparison shots of both cameras and can give an impression?

Frank

Antwort von Bernd E.:

The figures are per sensor to vote in the case of the Panasonic but not: It has 960x540 sensors, so that it comes to just under 520 000 effective pixels per CCD - the rest is Pixel Shift (which is not the start of badly needs to be).

bernd e nada, I guess here in terms of knowledge rich user. Only ... the new series (synonymous hvx201, hpx171) has totally new image converters with true 1.1 mil pixel. However, synonymous here with pixel shift is worked, as with my old HVX200 (ca.0, 51 mil).

Okay, if that is so, then ash on my bald head! I can not synonymous recall having ever read on this issue an official statement of Panasonic, but all other sources, which I stumbled over time - have various test reports or statements of synonymous Barry Green (moderator in the forum dvxuser and author of books on the HMC) - agreed that the HMC151 possessed only 960x540 CCD. Green also wrote and Adam Wilt (of Provideocoalition) agreed that HMC151 and HPX171 with identical sensors were 960x540 pixels.
The fact that the newer series should have received twice as many pixels, I hear the first of thee, with slashCAM this info for the database somewhere so synonymous herhaben needs. Now I want to instigate any bean counters war, because we all know that supply these cameras good pictures and it is then ultimately no preference, of how many actual pixels they arise, but theoretically interested I would be now, but: Do you know random nor the source from which you get that with the 1.1 million pixels?

Antwort von Frank B.:

That's really interesting times! Thank you first time, you two! Krokymovie thank synonymous for the comparison shots! The Pana does mE something brighter. One could s.manchen bodies (eg the Fiat Doblo van) go down a bit with the Aperture. Even in the night shots at 12db gain it looks a bit less noise - I imagine anyway. That should have given the Panasonic a change in the number of pixels is synonymous escaped me. Would have to be careful that you do not - if you buy - caught an outdated model? Apparently there is no update synonymous in the type code, so that outwardly you a newer and an outdated model could keep them apart. What I frankly do not understand at all, with such an upgrade. Is there possibly a clue in the serial number allocation?
For more tips in the direction I am of course grateful.
