Infoseite // HDV (1080i) to DVD for the umpteenth time?

Frage von Smajoka:

Hello,

the topic of HDV -> DVD was already in the forum are often discussed, but I have no recommendation for the format conversion can be read out. Therefore, a further question about this:

Raw material: HDV 1080i
Target Material: DVD PAL (25p or 50i)

A reduction of the vertical Resolutionist seems inevitable. If prior Deinerlacing carried out? My tests show that I am with the omission of a fields (Discarding Fields) per frame and then scaling the best result (schärfe) obtains. However, the motion blur evident.

Maybe I see the problem too complicated, evlt. I go with my video editing program (cinelerra) not professional enough to.

Is there a way for HDV to DVD? Perhaps somewhere on the reading?

Therefore grateful for any tip ...

Hello,

is only a theoretical approach, but perhaps just as the first indication for a relevant approach:

Normally you have to deinterlace the video before the picture scaled. Some programs make the car, especially for beginners, because beginners often do not know.

In the above case is not only an optimal image resolution is reached, but the movement is synonymous resolution preserved. Under these circumstances, I would look for a tool that the scaling field for half carries, so that from the original 1080/50i will later 576/50i.

A concrete recommendation software, I have unfortunately not.
