Hi,
I have recently completed a SonyHDR HC5 bought synonymous and am very satisfied. After I had filmed vie with this premiere and wanted to cut, was, as vorrauszusehen, my PC (AMD Dual Core, 2GB RAM) rather overwhelmed.
So I thought to myself the HDV clips from. Mpeg format into wmv or mov in low resolution or something else to bring, to cut and then the source files from the HD recordings to replace. is great for me rather 'Kinderkram' such as mobile and capable of youtube clips, I'm often disappointed to see how bad that something like prog with dv avi clearly comes of HDV would grow. without a certain other things to recommend, I can safely say that you have no super superer will be tuned as with.

yes you can with MPEG streamclip try. so you can convert almost anything. are available for windows and mac.

Habs now with "SAD video format converter 'target. With the Nintendo Wii klappts profile as low-resolution AVI.
If I then move the avis and Premiere HD material takes jubilation, as with simple drag and drop import, indexing forever.
Why?
Maybe because the HD material on an external USB disk is? With normal DV gabs've never had any problems ....
