I have a clip of HDV Cam captured via the Premiere own plugin 1:51 (basic Cineform codec). I then wanted to open in Combustion. If not, unfortunately. Windows Media Player plays it without problems.
A friend has the clip, but can open without problems in Combustion. He has, however, synonymous only to the premiere of their HDV codec and not the purchase version. The only difference might be an open source H264 codec, which he has on it. Everything else is equal (Media Player version, Quicktime version, Windows XP SP2).
Can you open a HDV clip from Premiere in another prog? If so, what codecs you have on it?

If the Cineform HD codec synonymous sitting in other programs, then no problems exist, or else already.

Eh? Tschuldige what is called "sitting in other programs? If a codec has been installed and the app handles the container, then a clip but must be reproduced in the appropriate application? The media player plays the clip in any event without a murmur ...
Have you the Premiere HDV codec or something else installed other such?
And: You can open the HDV clip in other Progs?
