Quantity determines the price ..
The HV30 looks from any value has a better zoom lever and the micro has been voted the less noise you hear)!

But the HV30 has a problem with the playback in SD quality. That is why many still prefer the HV20.
The other vote of the microphone is actually just a trimming of the corresponding frequencies, which is synonymous to the sound quality.
