The player is the way VLC! The instructions read to helps considerably. Permanently enable the deinterlacer on your preferences should fix your problem.

There are quite a way and who calls himself "ffdshow".

The only problem is that even with me not working.
I still have to turn by hand each time a new video of Bob to the comb-lem getting effect, although I have set all hooks and stored as described.
Moderate is the default setting anyway ncoh always on "disabled" when I view the deinterlacing options.
