Infoseite // Has jeman suggestions and exercises for coping with the Camera?

Frage von lukas2148:

Hi,

I need some suggestions and ideas, maybe someone knows synonymous specific "exercises." I will later become a director, must look like the whole time anyway with the training camp, which is not so easy to find the right course. But I'm only 15 and currently still employed with the school. But I'm planning as a kind of exercise, but synonymous because I simply fun to shoot a short film. Once the 2-3 minutes, sometime maybe 7 minutes.

But first I want to have a few suggestions and tips on how I might alone can make a few shots to get a little familiar with the camera. I have "only" a Canon EOS 500D, so for an SLR. I, in contrast to the successor of the 550D synonymous connect an external microphone. But that should be synonymous for the first time no preference, I am talking about the art work and ideas, not the quality (even with the 500D is not bad!).

What is there at all for different "camera work"? Are there specific kinds how to "move"? I have really no idea. If someone could help me it would be really nice!

Thank you,

Lukas

The best exercise is exercise that makes perfect, you can not craft the craft not to learn, you will have to make mistakes just to learn from them. Make mistakes but make them do what you have to cut and turn, you will come quickly behind what is going wrong and what is not. You can study synonymous Camera AND may not s.Ende. Everything seen live because theory and practice is something completely different, I recommend you only practice once simple and for that you do not need a book and no tips. Give you a goal in each film and finish your projects forever. Never give up, never surrender. : D

@ Lukas2148: Your questions are a bit too "general", as that it could answer specifically.

Hope to see you here:

And at every turning to film longer with every scene and start the cam than you think. Take detailed pictures, or you need your editor later cut material with which to enhance complete scenes or bad, are always synonymous to narrative detail shots, I'll do this, unfortunately, significant errors today and I am furious every time that material is missing s.Ende. Just at that moment I cutt a video in which just such nice quiet close-ups are missing, and I could throw up that I was drunk synonymous Sun : D I need to learn as synonymous still am, but synonymous impatient, bad. Above all, turning usually too short, the advice you realize you know.

How "short"? What should I turn briefly? I will only turn 30 minutes and then sit down on the 4 h post production?

Antwort von pilskopf:

Individual scenes and too short in the post, one is usually 50 hours, I at least. : D I mean the craft scene that you will spin in the post are missing an otherwise often valuable seconds because you have turned off the cam too early because it was thought that the scene is finished. You want it or tips? This is just a very common mistake of many.

The with the post office was just said that. May well be more. But I've still not understood. I prefer to turn a little like too much?

Yes I have thought at first synonymous, but "Individual scenes too short" is to put it rather funny.

Well, no preference:)

Exactly, this is a I think a very important tip for making films because they formed at the intersection so a film only / determined and since you need options and some, or better said many of the scenes can not simply turn again. This is true in general for everything that one turns. I just now have been making slow motion scenes from because I do not have a second, very annoying sometimes.

Otherwise, as I said, make easy.

My advice would be that you look at you, especially good movies and analize this (step by step - not all at once):
How appropriate role for the characters are busy? Under-or overstate the actor's representation of their feelings? Language is their colored or regional high-level language? They work with vocal Dynamics? Put them in dialogue and good intonation breaks? Sounds like the spoken word "natural" or "learned by heart"?
Like production design and props are used? If details of the equipment (synonymous in the background) elected purposeful, or is it a 08/15-Umgebung?
On what camera angles were rotated? Were rather short focal lengths (long-range impression) or long focal lengths (compressible final impression) used? Where is the focus? Moves the camera, or standing still? From whence comes the light, and what characteristics it has? Where and how often was cut?
What is heard in the soundtrack all? Noises are used realistic or exaggerated? Listening to all according to the same, or where some noise amplified for dramatic reasons? Does the scene Music, and how does the music's emotional impact?

And now are only examples of the analysis of the production. As much could you think about the details of the script.

If you is not clear how something definite was done, you can at any time in this or another forum to ask.

There are innumerable aspects you must consider when making movies or can note at least. Almost every director has his strengths and neglect other things, proper universal genius, the same experience on the scene lighting, the seat of the costumes, the exposure setting of the camera, the audio control the sound and pronunciation and expression eighth of the actors are rarely encountered .

Core business of the director is the lead actor. Fortunately, there are "real" shooting specialists for everything else. Although the director has the artistic direction and can interfere in all areas, but he can delegate as much synonymous.

In practice you have to make films more for themselves what is "later" distributed to many hands. But that has even provided a learning curve in itself. Who wants to be an architect should, once worked at a construction site. ;)

If you are powerful or less of English, I recommend the early works of Robert Rodriguez. As you learn but little concrete over the directing, but you learn an approach as one can teach yourself everything you need.
Especially recommended the book "Rebel Without A Crew", the diary-like the incredible development of the film "El Mariachi" describes. (The book is written in relatively plain English.) Also on the DVD of "El Mariachi" and "Desperado" is in the extras a lot of interest, including the legendary "Ten Minute Film School".
