Hello,
've a big problem with the playback of my HDV mini DV tapes. Have the tapes before half a year and seen - everything was okay.
Today I have the tapes now play again (with my HDR-HC 7). After approximately 1 hour after the second tape I had brought, there was suddenly a series of dropouts (or pickup). Looked often described as the "drop-outs. Somewhat later I had no picture more, but could still see the time code. Then have 10 sec-a cleaning tape inserted. It seemed for 10 minutes to provide for remedial, then it went back with the dropouts of the front off.
After seeing the cam for 20 minutes left in peace had worked to play again.
I had the feeling that the Cam after a long time in the player mode with drop-outs began.
I know that the cam is generally not possible, as players will use, but I did in 10 months, just 10 recorded tapes for months and no more material with the Cam sighted.
I am grateful for every tip!

Hi Alex,
So this is certainly not normal after such a short time and after only 10 bands in this may not happen often.
You seem so under warranty to have the Cam, I would advise you mounting the dealer to contact us ...
A friend of my times had a problem with a cam only 2 months old and got the same of a new Sony device.
