Infoseite // Help !!!!! Adobe Premiere Pro and real time

Frage von Olli:

Hi,

I am facing a problem,
I now work with Adobe Premier Pro 1.5 and After Effects 6.5,
However, the real-time does not really contribute to, and if I have both programs open, it is easy to crash.

I know that my system is not optimally designed is.

CPU: Athlon XP 1900 +
MB: Asus A7V 333
Memory: 512 MB DDR333
HD1: 60 GB System and Video Programs
HD2: 80 GB for video
HD3: 80 GB for video or preview

Video card: Canopus EZDV (there is unfortunately no Adobe Premiere Pro Drivers)

What is more useful (especially in price / performance ratio)?
either a new real-time Canopus card, for example, MAX or Raptor RT2
even the DV Storm2 Pro?
or a new processor with motherboard? (3GHz Intel or AMD FX64 3000 ?????)

I hope to receive many opinions and solutions ....

Thanks in advance,
Olli

I would be the first time a little more memory installed. Even 1Gb is gone. A new processor and a new motherboard, I would still synonymous spendier.

Hi Michael,
Experience has shown that the involvement of the Storm premiere in a very careful observance of, say, a bit demanding Canopus software.
All I know had problems with false, inaccurate to say integration to be done.
With the CD and click on setup ists not getan.Bei careful choice of components, correct installation, this is a very powerful estate car.
With the real-time encoding to mpeg is sagenhaft.Wer night the computer was previously used, leans back and smiling joyfully watched the progress bar.
Problems with the premiere performance of the different color space are likely to be looking for.
Theme RAM: This is not the bitfresser Premiere, After Effects is pleased with every piece of memory, the more it will be made available. The program would be synonymous 30 G greedily draw in the inside.
The discussion, whether hardware support or not, anyone can s.Hand its needs, with a good dealer for free, I will not want to miss.

Hello,

I have recently spoken with a friend, long-time DV editing theme works both synonymous and s.Soft as synonymous Hardware has tested a lot.

When he runs the entire suite with Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 flawlessly since he Canopus stuff (DV Storm II) and everything not heard about Adobe has to miss being down and with a calculator without a separate video card works. No more crashes and liquid works ...

From my own experience, I would, because I never had problems with Intel processors, a processor with min. 3.06 GHz and only then min. 1 GB Ram, if the finances allow synonymous 2 GB of RAM. What about beyond 2 GB is (according to statement of Adobe) of Premiere is not supported, will therefore synonymous nix. The hardware requirements are synonymous somewhere, the min. 3 GHz for real-time are required.

I've synonymous with Premiere 6.5 has found that the plug-ins for the communication of the program with some video cards should be used and the time will bring more problems than to continuous improvements.

My opinion :-)

Gruß,

Michael

Hi Olli,
RAM and Mainboard Olli has already been mentioned. With your ongoing programs 1G RAM itself is too little. AE eats RAM as I Schrippen.
If your finances allow, the Storm, then rapidly. I currently run this wagon with great success, which the Storm Videoout plugin gives preview of AP, AE, and Photoshop on a separate video monitor, etc.
The workflow of Adobe programs is impressive. An occasional freeze of each AP is synonymous with 3G RAM observed. In short, the Storm rockt.
