Hi,
recently I got the camera of sony dcr-HC17E increased. Now this camera when I try to connect it via firewire s.meinen pc crashes now ... I'm totally desperate, do not know what to do yet ... I hope someone can help me here ... am grateful for each rat ... I recognize as the fire card in the device manager .. Adobe Premiere recognizes the firewire card ... where the error is ... I am using windows xp home sp2 ..

Look under the name IEEE-1394, which is the Firewire adapter. Do you have everything set correctly in bios? Which Service Pack? Write a couple of times data of your system, otherwise it is hard to explain ...

I will now make more professional movies, firewire is essential ... So why is it when asking questions about my system please ... Thanks for the help ...
