Hi,
I have a huge problem:
The last time I already shot my footage on my camcorder (Canon MVX 150i) wanted to watch the camera suddenly showed nothing more than I s.and synonymous later the tape in another camcorder lodges were only partially squares and above length of each film sequences. Even when you load a completely new cassette in my camcorder took exactly the same problem again.
I'm abroad and can not go to Saturn, where I bought the camera.
You would be totally grateful if you could help me!

Hi Julian,
may be the video heads dirty? That would lead to errors such as block play and image formation failure.
Normally a camcorder does not destroy the magnetization recorded MiniDV tapes. Was perhaps the tape reversed?

Thank you for your tip. I have one of acquaintances an Reinigungskasette and get to work now, at least, the Aufnemhen again. Maximum likelihood, as you say, the Videokoepfe dirty. Unfortunately, it is still a part of my photography no longer searchable. While I believe that at this stage, the recording still functioned smoothly, so the Videokoepfe not yet been polluted.
To your question: No, the tape has not been exchanged.

The pollution of the video heads is a slow and gradual process, while image defects to the total loss will occur very suddenly.
