Hello,

I have already several documentaries produced in Mongolia. The productions have always been always been a sound engineer and it always has in Dolby Surround (5.1) added.

For a planned Project 2008 I am now even responsible for sound.

There should be a wind-resistant actively Microphone with his high-quality sound. The microphone should be directly with line-in with the camera connected.

Can anyone give a tip, which pro-Micro s.besten for this purpose would be adequate.

Sennheiser MZB 415-0, glass fiber microphone Angel
Sennheiser MKH416P (if your camcorder has about phantom power)
Sennheiser MZW 60-1 basket (for MKH416)
Sennheiser MZS 20-1, vibration mount
Sennheiser MZH 60-1, Fell (Alternative: Rycote 33051)

Total cost about EUR 1.600-1.700

That does not exist. Mic level is mic level. So either the microphone input s.einen Camera or neck by a first mixer and then into the line input of a camera.

And 5.1 is not synonymous, unless you are with 5 micros umhergezogen :-)
Presumably stereo and 5.1 mixed.
but that is another matter.

The MKH 416 is mono,
MKH 418S is a stereo mic, this would be a suitable SQN-4S or
SQN-2S-old, then opens it synonymous with line-in s.der Camera.
Rest as above.
