in my SonyDCR-HC17E is a break s.der housing top about 1 cm long, in front of the accessory shoe (or whatever that thing is called) and he runs behind the edge of the accessory shoe (or whatever that thing is called) down, so that a small triangular piece of the housing is pushed away, so to speak, and only depends s.einer Page (see attached photos).
If I have to touch the camcorder on top of the housing pressure, I notice that the Gehäusteile right and left of the broken body puts move. I fear that soon the small part and then stops next in whole or piecemeal in the interior lands.
I would like to breaking point with any material, stabilize and glue. So a kind of curved patches are made of hard material at the breaking stick or something.
Has anyone experience with something and can give me a hint?

The stuff from the DIY market is too thick, because if you would recommend to anyone.
The whole thing can then paint over and away, to the extent that you want. Apropro away, before you stick, you should easily Ruffling up the surface and then clean up well, then, the stuff synonymous wonderful. (Painting only if you did know, otherwise let it rather be)
Personally, I would but for now "only" with the glue repair and only if it does not hold for the fiber-draw option. But watch out that you like because the adhesive does not enter the enclosure.
