Infoseite // How do I create a Betacam Screening Format

Frage von kali:

Would like to make a film, of which a screening copy on Betacam SP Pal or Digital Betacam Pal will be created. Now the questions, what format should I rotate. Have a HVR-z5 I record with the normal mode 1080p. But of course, the choice of synonymous record in DV or DVCAM format. So the question is, for whatever format can be s.Besten Betacam Pal create one copy. Next to me is unclear, as they can make a copy and what it costs. Or is it even cheaper to borrow like a camera, with which I can absorb the proper format. How much is it then, but from the Betacam material create a DVD that I need synonymous. And it should then be Betacam SP Pal or Digital Betacam Pal. In short, I am completely clueless on Betacam and I would be happy about the Enlightenment.
Thank you very much!

HDV, rotate, scale, according to instructions (MPEG Streamclip, Resize, AE method, or via a program), uncompressed output in PAL. In order to go to service providers and can be processed on tape (of course Digibeta).

Thanks for the quick reply. To scale one more question: does this mean that I have in mind when shooting, that my real size is 4:3. Or I can by black bars above and below to keep the 16:9 format? For service providers: what does it cost so little about and under which heading do I find a service provider. And once again, a little stupid question: What is Betacam SP Pal as opposed to Digibeta?
Help!

If the client wishes to 16:9, you can then spend the synonymous to DigiBeta. BUT: 16:9 anamorphic has no black bars above and below, but only your 4:3 screen.

The Analogversion of Betacam from the 80s (see http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betacam_SP versus http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Betacam). SP makes it more difficult for us in Germany - but unfortunately still surprisingly often ;-)

In HD and 16:9, cut and turn, then ask a few service providers, in what format they would like them for a 16:9 Digibeta playout.

Had already visited the Wikipedia links, but I still do not always look all over. Hdv is always 16:9. DV always 4:3. DigiBeta synonymous has a fixed format, or can I copy my data into synonymous DigiBeta DigiBeta 4:3 as 16:9. So is not auto DigiBeta 4:3. And what I ask myself, of course, synonymous, it is cheaper to turn right to convert as DigiBeta DigiBeta in s.end Hdv let? I'm confused. But thanks for the first reconnaissance attempts. I nevertheless know better than this morning.

DV is 4:3 - who says something?

DV, HDV, DigiBeta, and are in a 16:9 anamorphic pixel aspect ratio of 1.4587, or synonymous isomorphic encoded at a 4:3 pixel aspect ratio of 1.

That means other way around:

If the pixels are square, then the screen aspect ratio is
- DV and DigiBeta 4:3
- AVCHD 16:9

If the pixels are rectangular, then the screen aspect ratio is
- DV, HDV and 16:9 DigiBeta

Got it? http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixelseitenverh%C3%A4ltnis

Ok. There is no idea so far. Therefore, the best tip: ask someone in real life, who has a clue. Not in the forum ask, do not even try.
