Hello!
I know the topic of film look and color grading has been chewed through 1000 times, but I must not even know a few things.
I've watched recently shown below rüberlässt Film and was completely off of the color and the mood of the strip.
Since then, I wonder how I could just spend close to such colors. I just got some length with Curves, Hue / Saturation, Color Balance, and so on, but without satisfactory results.
As you would do?
What filter would you use to some colors simply "hinzubekommen colored, but others tend to weaken. I mean I can only shadows, averages and highlights some twist of colors, but this all looks different than on the bottom call'd screenshots ....

Atmosfear grateful that you asked. Such special coloring is done in the very impressive and synonymous show some effect (which I suppose was supposed to be synonymous sense) ;-)

it irritates me, although often go to the bottom of the theory, but in color correction, I usually proceed intuitively and play s.den sliders until I like the result - or / and the customer. ;-)
When it comes to the theory, I would compare the predetermined target image with my original image and determine first the broad direction. In the above case, I immediately jumped to the high color saturation in the eye. Some colors actually glow, such as the green field in
Picture 3.

Yes, really nice - I like synonymous. - But look at you like this picture but just times> to = light, sky, Scrolling, composition ........... etc.
I simply say times when I would tell you => fotografier provided to me $ 1000 for a similar picture with the colors (you understand a lot) of photography, then you would almost make it. Then a little editing in Photoshop .....
What I mean by that? Many simply forget that a movie consists of moving individual frames. They give themselves far from the trouble with composition as with a single ... Then simply draufgehalten, preferably in bright sunshine at noon 12h ... etc. + s.end they are disappointed with the outcome + scream for the film look .......

A significant proportion s.der effect of such Picture 3 and 5 have the course ND-filter. Without the sky darkened even during production, the composition would not work so well already. To hinzubekommen the coloring helps a selective correction. The criterion for selection is specifying a particular tonal range, a color synonymous or simply be a free-shaped mask. So everyone can spatial, color, or helligkeitsmäßig contiguous portion of the image separately and specifically affected. One should however always be aware of the limits of the source and target medium. With DV raufzuschrauben saturation ends quickly fatal, and if, for example in the context of the final product is Broadcast limits must hold, it is easy to overshoot over the target.

Hello!
So, I think these looks are sometimes very nice, but not nearly as special as in advertising. In general, your Ex, but all moved significantly upward in chroma. Thereby, the colors squeaky. Let's take the example of Figure 3 produces:

The sky in Picture 3 is not even "beautiful blue". On the contrary, in the lower part we see that he is before greyish, whitish. The upper part is a straight "Power Window with" blacked out. In which picture you noticed this and what does it matter? I Would be very interested.
