I have recently learned of a friend that it is somehow possible to get the movies of my camcorder to the pc, although my camcorder (SonyDCR-PC9e) is not set up for the PC, it has no software drivers or Fire Wire cable. If Someone should know, I would be glad to help.

However, the camcorder has a FireWire port! For the so-called "iLink" you need a 6 to 4 pin FireWire cable. Which you get at any computer store. With your camcorder you have a DV synonymous - In. That means you can return the data once synonymous s.den camcorder.
