Short tutorial how to get running on a Magic Lantern Canon EOS 550D to

.....................................

Note:

No guarantee of Canon, Magic Lantern or me it works!

.....................................

You need the following files

- BootCF.exe & cc3280mt.dll (to make the card bootable)
- Autoexec.bin (latest version)
- Magiclantern.cfg
- Magiclantern.fir
- Etc.

.....................................

Formatted your card and start using the console - CMD> BootCF.exe <DRIVE>

Then copied the files Magic Lantern on the map

Put the card into your camera and let Magic Lantern'll do the rest

Now you have installed Magic Lantern or each time it is the start of each card.

If there are problems - a formatted / new card will start your normal camera

Have fun

Cool idea, thanks!

Only sometimes as demand I have understood correctly:
The firmware is indeed the start of SD Card. So I have all the SD cards I use to prepare accordingly.
The original firmware is not overwritten so, that is when I insert a formatted SD card without ML is the camera back in the "factory state"? No warranty problem?
