Infoseite // How do you organize your AVCHD clips?

Frage von Bildstabilisator:

Hello community,

has long been seeking a suitable software, in which I can organize my AVCHD clips well. I film with a Canon HFS100, which spits out the. Mts format. I prefer only the synonymous. Mts files on the hard drive mitzukopieren without the folder structure.

In organization, I understand can tag the clips, especially for key words and evaluate them and then, of course, the tags can be found synonymous.

The Canon software, I found a disaster. In Bridge CS5 he tells me that he will not cut xmp files to. In Picassa to tag I can, but looking at the videos he has problems.

How do you do then?

Thanks for your tips and hints

I find the files already too large to be stored in a database application, etc. / play. So far I do without on it quite easily. With a ExifRenamer I call after clearing out leftover files simply good (example: 201024_143846.MTS), then give the folder a meaningful name and save to DVD / DVD-RAM / BlueRay etc. (2 copies).

If I will create a database at some point, maybe with one or more screenshots from the respective clip or with extremely compressed and smaller clips with indication of where the original file is located. Since I'm still not sure whether I will pursue this effort. It is perhaps synonymous important, what has been so films and how comprehensive.
