quite conservative: EDL store, all created and used items (stiil, sounds, etc.) separately store, burn to DVD. Raw lift. 2 master on tape, 2x DVD master.
In times of terabytes Calculator:

if the perfectly edited film will not be changed later, then it is sufficient to export the contents of the timeline as a DV AVI to (save to external hard drive) and one on MiniDV playout to archive. A view is a copy on DVD.
That is how the AVI file will always be available again when the film such as DivX are exported again later. If the hard drive, which is stored on the DV-AVI file corrupted, the miniDV-tape is used.
