Infoseite // How to videos with special Resolutionordentlich on video medium?

Frage von Escalon:

Hi!

I have two questions to two different video formats that I want the best possible ban on a CD or DVD for the DVD player.

The first would be an Xvid video with the Resolution640x480. Different locations, the show was on TV (pal added) and now looks eaten on the computer screen. Ie, the ARD logo is stretched slightly vertically, for example.
My question is this: How do I get this video in the correct proportions on SVCD or DVD (depending what is in this Resolutionbesser does).
Have tmpeg, virtualdub and Studio9 available.

The second movie would be an asf file with the Resolution320x240 in the corresponding ratio of 4:3. If I have already informed me RICHITGE, I would have video - and the first soundtrack inseparable, as both otherwise probably not later run synchronously.
So my question is: which video standard here would be appropriate aufläsen s.geeignesten and what should I choose? I'm slightly confused because in some way, because even the Resolution480x576 has SVCD and that would be taller than wide. Are pulling the Fersehen it first right out or how does it work?

Thank schonmal for possible answers. I would be rich already synonymous, if I could at least be helped in one case;)

Your Xvid video does not fit because relation is not exactly true.
With VirtualDub filter, resize to 720x576 for example (= DV resolution)
In principle, you can then proceed with all the "wrong" format.

PS: The SVCD resolution (PAL) is 352x576, PAL standard Resolution352x288
Your Fersehen which then brings in the right format over ;-)

The normal PAL resolution (DV) is - as already mentioned - at 720 × 576th Maybe you meant with 352 × 288 VCD / PAL resolution?

Antwort von Escalon:

All right, thank you!

But of you called the SVCD Resolutionnicht actually one of the possible DVD Resolutions? (at least according tmpgenc)
Besides, I still found the following on the net: 4:3 corresponds to a digital PAL Resolutionvon 704x576. 720x576 is a bit wider. I would have to be above and below a black border of 16Pixeln leave or what?

friendly greetings,

@ markus
Of course you are (as always) right ;-))
So the 352x288 video Resolutioneiner CD

@ escalon
You can even burn a DVD 352x288, but makes little sense, because it Resolutionund to halt (VISIBLE) quality is lost ...
btw: are synonymous to SVCD 480x576 (PAL) is possible, I had not noticed before.
But is synonymous eigendlich not optimal. The best quality is maintained, if possible, must not be changed, or only in one direction or simply cut in half the size ...
When in doubt: Try going to study about ...

I myself have recorded analog of Cam's with 720x576, and can render only s.Schluß at 352x288 for a Video CD. The result was much better than if I had gone straight through 352x288.
