Infoseite // How you clean a video head of a VCR

Frage von Markus Lamschus:

Hello,
I have a Panasonic FS-88EG Videorec and at regular intervals, on average, every hour, I must open up the unit and the amorphous video head or whatever that thing is called clean, so he is not a "storm" auspuckt, then it is always synonymous for ne time long gut.
I already have with alcohol, Sidolin and tried to clean water, obviously something is always dust on the head.
Has one of you a hint, how to s.Besten cleans, so I do not have to do every hour?
Viele Grüsse
Markus

How did you clean the heads? Good is possible that you already have done what is broken. The heads are the small black pieces s.unteren edge of the head drum and react quite sensitively to an incorrectly performed cleaning.

However, it may be synonymous that there is a problem with the power supply is. Are remote in the case difficult. Can you time a sample image of the "storm" post?

Hello,
it sounds after all simply abgenutzen heads at. As would normally be a head change due. In Konsumergeräten means, however, said simply: Economic total loss.
The head drum should be cleaned only really someone who knows so, because the chance of damage is simply too high. And very important: DO NOT WATER! Water is pretty much the best guarantee for a total loss.
Who it still wants to try, here is a small Instructions:
The video head drum consists of 2 parts, the so-called Uper-drum and the lower drum. In Uper drum there are small holes in which the actual heads sit. To Uper-round drum, the tape gefädelt.
For cleaning should only be used isopropanol, which is conveniently located in the Elekteronikfachhandel gets. The pharmacist called alcohol is often inadequate, because it 1-2 percent water content can contain. THIS WATER IS TÖTLICH!
Also used s.besten small sticks with a leather top. Cotton swabs are not suitable. The leather tip slightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol (only damp, not wet) and with a slight (!) Uper pressure to the drum around. The upper Kopfradscheibe should not side with the fingers touched. In terms of actual heads very, very careful with the leather sticks to work. The danger, while the heads of damage or wear to the band heads to press is very great. If you are a little closer to the inner life with a video knows that the opportunity can be synonymous nor the so-called "Bandlinial" and the Capstan shaft clean.
The rollers should not be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol, because the danger is that this is "cured".
All in all, is: more caution and less is more;)

... when my two VHS recorders helped the simple use of a Reinigungscassette. When I have a Grundig DVD-2000 had long since there were no more cleaning tapes. So open and with cotton swabs and nail polish remover (acetone) geschrubbt. Went fine. Isopropanol would be better.

Only that one with a VHS recorder with cotton swabs s.den heads and hang them in the worst case abreißt.

In addition, the acetone paint s.den windings s.Kopf what synonymous to solve an immediate defect leads.

So really not a good idea!
