I think you will get problems so easily s.The Humax contents of your hard drive to come? You have there a premiere-certified hard drive recorder. The Premiere certificate he did not get free. The contents of the disk are protected. While there are certainly talented hackers who can handle something like this synonymous, but the controls are not in slashCAM, oooooder? ;-).

If you want to simply come s.den digitally recorded content of the hard drive of a hard disk recorder, I recommend a hard disk receiver with USB Asnchluß, eg the 9100 series of (Humax or better) of the Topfield 5500. However, you will not be able to persuade Premiere to release the reception with these devices. It has been said to me once but that one can have his card until a certified device to unlock the card and then just in a suitable CI module puts a different device. Maybe that someone can confirm.

Otherwise, a small reference to a forum that is mainly concerned with these topics:

Hi Mark,
This time, it must not shake you. Chrisgau is absolutely right. Pulled over USB MPEG2s remain unchanged.

Comfortable with the Topfield is a change under way ;-).

The Humax incidentally, bears a password on the disk, which makes it nearly impossible to read s.Calculator the data. But further details can be found in the forum to digital television.

These reservations about USB, I have never been able to understand. In my USB works just as well as Firewire. For example I have an external USB 2.0 disk for data transport. Work has been totally reliable and cost half a year ago with case / power supply etc., only 80 euros for 200GB. The velocity is (for me in non-critical area is only for information and not for OS and Programs).

My opinion: if the latest DV cameras throughout their DV-AVI 's (do not take this unnecessary for SD MPEG-2 stuff) directly onto an internal hard drive (immediately szenengetrennt), the Manufacturer of USB 2.0 for transport to the PC . swerve

We have had numerous synonymous next user in the above-linked post (Bye, Bye, FireWire) expressed. All the aspects I have collected with the time in the following contribution:

You get the Mpeg2 file in such quality over - whether with FiWi or USB.

This contradicts himself but now? If we now with Humax devices (or only with certain) s.The data or not? And what about when Topfield?
