having problems with my Firewireanschluss.Habe a Sony digicam and Windows XP2.Nun I have read that it is synonymous füe I-LINK cable is the Sony camera I found it here on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.de/ DV Cable for SONY camcorder firewire-i -link_W0QQitemZ180028013416QQihZ008QQcategoryZ31176QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Is this something other than my normal firewire cable?

It works so maybe?

Firewire is a standard interface. This means only with Sony, "I-Link"
You can use any Firewire cable and do not need an extra one of Sony. The description in the aforementioned Ebayartikel is therefore somewhat unfortunate, since this cable is not only synonymous for Sonyist.
Since there are 2 cables with different connectors you need only note that you have the right for your device.

So I simply do not get out through the USB Firewire.Über gehts times but I heard it because the quality loss gibt.Im Device Manager will not even erkannt.Was Cam, I can now again machen.Hatte of reading a thread where you somehow files from the SP2 or so but not replace soll.Finde diene mehr.Könnte this help you?

durchpobieren as the other points from the link that you have already done everything (since it times and times according to your information is not primarily the points with the cable: event. loose connection?)

Hello Habew all synonymous durchprobiert.Habe a new cable now hier.Aber the Cam is not recognized via firewire. When I connect the USB cable, the camera will immediately erkannt.Aber I heard the picture quality deteriorates if it is via USB cable can be run .

Rule out any cause for the non-function is responsible:

1. Clasp your camcorder with the same or to subsequently synonymous with another Firewire cable s.einen other Calculator.

2. Close to another DV camcorder with the same or later synonymous with another Firewire cable s.Deinen Calculator.

Is it the cable, the camcorder, or there is s.Computer?

with my old computer went es.Beim new nicht.Also it would have something with the PC so sein.Hatte already bought a new firewire card with no success

Hello, go ahead following.
Power switch on the back of the PC position, 0,,.
Power Button Front s.PC for at least 10 Sec. hold.
Switch back to position,, 1,,.
Turning on the PC with a push of the front power button.
During PC startup, the device is re-registered and now appears under My Computer.
