Now it does. However, there are still a few surprises, the Samsung for the presentation of the new VP-HMX10C has lifted. For 879 Euro MSRP will only insufficient Wide (43mm), but equal to 8 GB of internal flash memory included. It captures with H.264, but not AVCHD. In the highest quality (12 Mbps) to fit 90 min. in the internal memory. Expandable this is exacerbated by SD (HC) cards. The Camera controls no real 1080 lines, but draws them in 720p with 59.94 frames per second progressive on. This can usually only absolute professional cameras. A 50 FPS mode, but Samsung seems to be a gift. With this unbalanced Featureaustattung, the Cam, in any case to make some conversation ...

... in what will be recorded because, once you disregard the AVCHD just a marketing term, which of course can not be recorded and the course is protected and we consider that it is an MPEG4 codec is scalable ... .

So the question is which codec is used because ... The recording format is AVCHD just like an MPEG2 transport stream ... but the codec ... that is what counts ...

Or re-invent something new ..... I would make the first approach can not believe ...

A variant with 50fps for PAL would have been interesting, but then there is the question how to use these for "Standard PAL" implements (after 50i or 25fps). Of course, the image quality synonymous important as synonymous stabilizer, etc..

... if only once in the 50's or 25 world is the transformation after PAL no longer an issue .... only from the 60s to come out the world is complicated, because most programs are cutting the interpolated images, but not convert the color space.
The result is often disappointing, when it compares with the original.
But the trend is now quite so fast, when you consider that the standard only in the spring has been completed ....

I wonder how slowly narrow the whole clan developers actually is .. 59.94 fps .. ask what should one begin? where the hell is the problem of an additional volldigiten cam 24,25,30 or s.besten be an arbitrary frame rate to give?
Constantly this wanton ausbremsen simple, important features .. Samsung is not even a professional area to be protected. And 12 Mbit mpeg4 is for the high frame rate in 720p synonymous a joke.
But the broad direction agrees, and soon there are certainly some great new toys in the HD area .. ;-)

What color space conversion exactly do you mean here? This is but an HD-Cam, hopefully in the ITU's 709 - and the conversion to the ITU 624 may be enough for PAL tools.
