After the series HV 10 to 40 now and been around for a while (the cassette recorders, the consumer area) are definitely in front of the AUS, I would like to know whether or nor a Canon HV 50 is being planned. If not I would be interested in how long the HV 40 is still being built. Has anyone in this direction, enough insider knowledge?

I have no inside knowledge, but what I've read this far so it was a stroke of luck that even the Canon HV40 has brought and that there will be little consumer successor in the HDV format.
Even in semi-professional sector, the trend is probably next in the direction of flash memory and including AVCHD.

I really do not think even s.noch a new model of HDV, no preference of which Manufacturer. I wanted to ask, if only the previous October, who knows what. Ifs nor HV50 would have been then I would have waited with the purchase of the HV40 a bit. Have they bought in December and am happy with it (apart from very modest wide angle).
